And Reagan was not the small government conservative he is remembered as. Admittedly, that was heavily because he had to bargain with a Dem controlled congress to get what he wanted.
That was not the case when it came to President Ronald Reagan's "signature" health insurance reform, the Medicare Catastrophic Coverage Act of 1988, which was supported by both parties at the time but repealed later after widespread protest at town hall meetings over costs and the like (sound familiar?)."
But sadly, we didn't actually win the Cold War, did we? You think I'm wrong? Then when exactly did the occupation and de-nuclearization of the Russians -- the evil core of the Soviet Union -- happen?
