The whole thing about whether he was born on American soil actually misses the point. He doesn't live on American soil. If you went to Harvard for anything other than a technical degree, you could have just as well attended La Sorbonne for how much you'll learn about you and me:

Taxes and healthcare costs are rising and incomes are not, so families are spending less on clothing and restaurant meals. Middle class Americans are cutting discretionary spending left and right, trying to make ends meet, while jobs keep disappearing--and our president continues his march to the left leading “the most successful administration in a generation in moving progressive agendas forward.”
How could a man who was such a galvanizing figure for many Americans two years ago have become this out of touch?"
