Kurtz Has A Good Question

Obama’s New Strategy - By Stanley Kurtz - The Corner - National Review Online: "So what’s Obama’s strategy now? Think about it. This is a serious problem for him. For months conventional wisdom has held that the state of the economy leaves the president little choice but to hammer Romney to make him seem unacceptable. Now that this has failed, what is left for Obama? He can’t shift to an optimistic “morning in America” campaign without becoming a laughingstock. So what does he do? He tries several new lines of attack to see what works, I suppose. But time is running out and the Obama campaign could quickly take on the same sense of drift that Romney’s been struggling with up to now. This isn’t just a debate loss, for Obama, it forces him to shift his strategy when no good alternatives exist. That’s a big deal."
