This disorder illuminates the progressive mind. . . . To progressives, the best thing about railroads is that people riding them are not in automobiles, which are subversive of the deference on which progressivism depends. Automobiles go hither and yon, wherever and whenever the driver desires, without timetables. Automobiles encourage people to think they—unsupervised, untutored, and unscripted—are masters of their fates. The automobile encourages people in delusions of adequacy, which make them resistant to government by experts who know what choices people should make.”

Plus this: “The average intercity auto trip today uses less energy per passenger mile than the average Amtrak train.”

Unless of course his goal is to throw sand in the gears on purpose. Hmmm. Where have I seen evidence of this kind of thing before? Here's one of my favorites:

It's fascinating that if you go look at YouTube for "Obama skyrocket" that there is only one variant of this video that even breaks 100k views -- and only one other breaks 10k. So that means the sheep have let themselves be brainwashed and then blow dried to look like their idol Charlie Sheen. OMG! Did I just say that? I'll take it back when I see you give me the counter evidence...

What's even funnier is that when it's to the advantage of his argument he will readily admit -- as he does here -- that business will pass increased costs on to consumers. But if a non-Communist suggests such a thing why he's just economically uneducated and bitter! LOL

Oh, yes. And speaking of bitter don't forget this one which has a reasonably higher view count on its variants no doubt mainly because of the NRA not being extinct yet:
