The Real Idiot Practices Alinsky: What You Knew Already About The 'Debate' Expressed Concisely

Instapundit nails the idiocy that pervades Obama's health "care" obfuscations to the wall using the context of the most recent Robert Reich column's unwitting admission of incompetence:

... Mainly because there’s still no healthcare plan. All we have are some initial markups from several congressional committees, which differ from one another in significant ways. The White House’s is waiting to see what emerges from the House and Senate before insisting on what it wants, maybe in conference committee.

But that’s the problem: It’s always easier to stir up fear and anger against something that’s amorphous than to stir up enthusiasm for it.

Hmm. So it’s like this:

Obama: I’m going to turn healthcare upside down. Not sure how.

People: I don’t think I’ll like this.

Obama: Haters!

Remember how Bush was supposed to be the idiot who went into Iraq without a plan, while Obama was supposed to be the cool methodical one? But Reich is admitting that despite all the Administration hoopla, there’s still no plan. Or, possibly, that the White House has a plan, but won’t tell us what it is. And yet the people who don’t want to see a bill — some bill, doing who-knows-what — rammed through in the dead of night are somehow the ones who are ignorant and being manipulated. Right.

A concise jewel of evisceration, no? RTWT.

The bottom line is that it's all Saul Alinsky all the time with our good friend the Manchurian Candidate. He's going to hide the salami from you in all cases. And when you're gullible enough to wonder where the transparency is that he promised -- never mind the moderation and conciliation -- well the problem is with you my friend. You're a hater and a racist!

And if you're a black or person of color who complains then you're an Uncle Tom just in case you think appearances might cause him any embarrassment. Oh, and by the way, some people of color don't count. Lord knows Americans of Japanese and Chinese ancestry have never suffered any persecution in this country so they don't get any ranking on the race-baiter totem pole.

Hmmmmm, and what was the party affiliation of that president who incarcerated the Japanese again? And did I forget to mention that Asians have higher average incomes than whites in this country? Whoops! Down the memory hole with that inconvenient fact...

Anyway, the two Alinsky rules you must never forget:
RULE 5: "Ridicule is man's most potent weapon." There is no defense. It's irrational. It's infuriating. It also works as a key pressure point to force the enemy into concessions. ...

RULE 12: Pick the target, freeze it, personalize it, and polarize it." Cut off the support network and isolate the target from sympathy. Go after people and not institutions; people hurt faster than institutions.
Just in case you were surprised about what was happening to Sarah Palin.

And you.

  1. Robert Reich is not alone. There's been a couple of those unwitting admissions lately. Amazing, isn't it, that people are actually still buying into this deal. But propaganda and ridicule remain powerless in the face of facts, as you well know. So we have that going for us, and that's no small thing.

I recently read that Las Vegas odds shifted this past week: odds are no longer in favor of Obamacare passing. Significant? I don't know. But I found it encouraging nevertheless.

  2. I'd agree with you Ray if there weren't about to be a lot more corrupt rules to go along with Saul's.

Instead of passing it with 60 votes they'll change the rules and do it with 50 and Slow Joe's vote if they have to. Filibuster, schmillibuster. Mark my words. Otherwise O Duce won't be able to hide his failure in the history books.

He'll drop to any depth of evil to avoid that.

    Thanks for dropping by...

  3. They can change it to 50 votes and probably will, i do not doubt that. But that will be the end of this administration and the beginning of civil war, I do not joke.

  4. Well Anon, you might be right about that but again folks are underestimating the nastiness that is O Duce.

Remember those "death panels" that Palin was right to decry and have been supposedly dropped now?

Whoops! They have already been funded by the so-called stimulus bill: http://wethefree.blogspot.com/2009/08/it-already-exists.html

Can you imagine the temerity of this Ezekiel Emanuel a**hole to give that recent interview to the state-run media about how Palin slimed him when he's already appointed to the death panel?

Did I forget to mention how stupid they think we are? And on that I'm coming to agree with them.

In the end it comes down to this: Normal working folks like us can't even relate to the depravity of the nasty totalitarian a**holes. But they are largely incapable of actual work and production. They are parasites and that's all they know how to do.

But because we can't even believe how nasty they are we cut them miles of rope to hang us with. And it ends up being a cliffhanger whether we'll survive. Do you understand how close we came to losing WWII for instance? (Read Cave-Brown's "Bodyguard of Lies" if you need an eye-opener.)

I'm the least optimistic I have been in a long time whether the good guys will survive this round. And just for the cherry on top, the survival of Israel is at stake and nukes are in play my friend.

  5. A lot of folks -- roughly half the American population -- are, no doubt, underestimating Barack Obama's nastiness. But a lot aren't. And that number is increasing. I'm not optimistic, exactly -- or, rather, I'm cautiously optimistic. I don't pretend it's going to get better fast. And yet I do believe that this current crisis, which has only just begun, will eventually result in a greater America. People are discussing the concept of individual rights on a level not seen in a century or more. That ideology is precisely what's needed; it's irrefutable, and Obama has inadvertently unleashed it. Socialism, upon the other hand, in any of it's ugly disguises, is always the author of its own demise: by its very nature, it cannot succeed. The only question, of course, is how much damage will occur in the interim. I do not know.
